by these presents, nominate, constitute, and appoint
Jonathan Musick Esq. of Shelby County--State
of Alabama, to be my true and lawful attorney
in fact to do and act for me in the matter and
promises hereinafter mentioned, and whereas I
the said Moor did on the twenty second day of Feby.
last bargain & purchase of Smith Randall and
his wife Phebe of Rutherford County aforesaid
a certain tract or parcel of land containing one
hundred & fifty acres lying on Green River
county aforesaid, the title in fee simple of which said
land lies in children of said Randall & his
wife Phebe, and whereas the said Randall & his wife
and a certain John Green of said county did on the
day above mentioned give to the said Moor their bond
obligating themselves to cause titles for said tract
of land above mentioned be made by the children
of said Randall and his wife as they arrived of
lawful age to be made to the said Moor, and as
the said Randall & his family are about moving
to the State of Alabama, now therefore I do hereby
fully transfer and authorize said Jonathan
Musick Esq. to ask for to the and cause titles
or relinqueshment of all the rights in & to the afore--
said tract of land to be made to me by the said
children of the said Randall and his wife Phebe
as they may come in lawful age, and in each and
every thing should they neglect, refuse or or delay
making such titles. I as for their hereby fully
authorize and empower my attorney aforesaid
to bring sale on aforementioned bond against the
said Randall and his wife and the aforesaid
John Green, and to take, receive, retain, for my
use any moneys that may be recovered on the prom--
ises aforenamed. And whereas I have put into the
possession of Phebe Randall aforesaid a certain
negro woman purchased by me of James Morris
of this county on certain conditions as is fully
specified in an article made between Smith
Randall, Phebe Randall, and myself on the 22
day of February last, which said article has
been put into the hands of my said attorney.
Now therefore I, as further hereby fully author--
ize and empower my said attorney Jonathan
Musick to act for me into carrying into effect
the conditions of said article in as full and
