Appointed to assist these general com-
mittee members are: Entertainment
Committee: Mrs. E. C. Plyler, Vance B.

nor, who will also serve as toastmaster.
Decorations committee: S. P. Kistler,
Mrs. Bleeker M. Jones, Miss Ellen Sears,
Mrs. J. N. Hill, R. Jack Barnes, R. E.
Goodman, Jack Keistler, and C. N. Sher-
rill. Attendance and Registration Com-
mittee: W. L. Helton, Max Sherard, Miss
Betty Jo Warmbold, L. Calvert, Miss
Mary Cohen, Miss Lola Berryhill, and
Mrs. Mildred Cushman. Hospitality
Committee, in addition to Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Walker and Mr. and Mrs. H. F.
Lander, includes: Mr. and Mrs. A. C.
Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Shippey, Mr.
and Mrs. L. C. Keener, Jr., Mr. and Mrs.
C. H. Whitlock, Miss Merle Goodman,

will serve as toastmaster and Franklin
Way will pronounce this invocation.

In South Carolina the banquet is being
planned by General Chairman W. N.
Page, assisted by a general committee
composed of Mrs. Eveyln Williams, at-
tendance and registration; H. G. Brown,
decorations; Malcolm H. Jones, hospi-
tality; and W. C. Smith and M. A. Rob-
erts, co-chairmen of the entertainment
committee.

S. C. Committee members

Appointed to serve with Mrs. Williams
on the attendance and registration com-
mittee were Miss Sarah Yeager, Jack
Vaughn, G. R. Jones, J. C. Langford,
S. E. Norris, Roy Ayers, and Wilbur R.
Page. The entertainment committee in
addition to Messrs. Smith and Roberts
is composed of J. L. Rhodes, Marvin M.
Mitchell, Mrs. Madie Walker, W. R.
Adams, F. C. Caldwell, and Mrs. Minnie
Howard. H. G. Brown is being assisted
on the decorations committee by E. T.
White, H. T. Campbell, G. C. Wilson,
Mrs. Delia Brown, Mrs. Louise De
Shields, Mrs. O. N. Page, and R. L. Elli-
son. Mrs. Malcolm Jones will serve with
Mr. Jones on the hospitality committee
and they will be assisted by Mr. and Mrs.
Jim Kirk, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Long, Mr.
and Mrs. Ray Clinkscales, Mr. and Mrs.
M. L. Sanders, and Mr. and Mrs. E. L.
Crenshaw. A. C. Maddox will serve as
toastmaster and R. D. Alexander will
pronounce the invocation.

All indications are that the two ban-
quets coming up will be among the best
ever. As in past years the great majority
of employees will probably be present for
the festivities.
