Tom Williams and Walter Williams
fell out about throwing slabs across
the pit I heard them say: did you
like what was said Walter Williams
Broke off piece of sc[illegible] and
struck Tom Williams and fell and
Tom struck Walter Williams and
hell by that time I got to them
and took hold of Walter and told
him there was no use going on
that way and then Verg Williams
walked by behing Tom Williams and
hit him with a mallet hit him
side the Head he said there was no
need to drive clogs at that time
I was not useing my mallet at that
time. Tom Williams was standing
with his back to Verg Williams
when struck
