John Hudgens being duly sworn
says; I was yesterday in the store of
Jones Taylor Hard Ware Company was
coming to the front door, when I got
in front door a car came around.
I saw a lady with back to car on
side walk in front of the bank of
Lawrens. The car struck her and
pushed her up against bank.

Before the car struck her the driver was
bending over in the car. She was on
side walk when I first saw her. He

a woman. The lady struck was Mrs.
Rork the wife of the hotel man went
up to where she was taken out from
under the car. Her hip seemed to be
broken the car off or who picked the
lady up.
