Evidense of Matin Bonds
being sworn says I live near
tha was fixing to saw some for
me the Engin belong to Elbert
Bonds and Nash McCray the
Engin was out of fix when than
came hear yesterday tha sent to
Laurens after John Woody to fix
the Engin he came and worked yesterday
eveing he went back to
Laurens last night after some
Bealts and that he did not have with
him and came back this morning
and finished working on the engin
and Mose Sands fixed it up I do
not know how much steam was was on the
Boiler at the time I dont know any
thing about what fix the Engin was
in the have ben sawing in the
neighborhood for some time

at the time the engin busted I was
at the father end of the Carage
I did not of any thing being Rong
with the Engin at the time it Busted
it had 70 lbs of Steam on the boiler
when it busted the pop valve was
set for 120 lbs before it wood pop
off I and Nash McCrary bought the Engin
Ov from Mr Clarence Benkesdal the Engin
had ben running all night ever sence we have
owned it the stay Boalt gave way was the
caus of it bursting
