An inquisition indented taken at Laurens CH [court house]
on the 25th Aug a.d. 1908 before W. D. Watts, Coroner
for said County whom reviewed the body of
C. C. Wilson when and where being dead by
the oaths of J N. Wright foreman, C. N.
Kennedy, H D Mahaffey[?], W. A. Martin,
B. A. Wix, H. Moore, E. D. Balt [?], R. B. King,
J. D. Sexton, J. A. Rodger, J. H. Haring [?],
L. N. Queens [?] being a lawful query of
inquest who haven't [?] been
to inquire for the State of South Carolina
where and by what means Said C
C Wilson came to his death upon
their oaths do say said CC Wilson.
Came to his death by his own act
by hanging himself in Witmens [?] whereof
I W. D. Watts, coroner aforesaid and
jurors aforesaid to his inquisition
have interchangeably held [?] our [?]
and dead 2nd [?] day + year alone
mention.
