Leah Miller being sworn says
When I came home about 5 oclock
yesterday Evening the children said Pa & ___
was trying friss [fish?] over at John [illegible] hous [house]
I went out and called Frank Millers
and he came & John Chuir [?] Docks Pinson [?]
and Guss Leak [?] came with him and
Jim Wilson followed with an Iron
poker in his hand & stepped out in
the yard and began to curse Frank and
I went to the door & asked him to please
stop cursing. Frank said Jim you go
out of my yard my Wife told you she
did not want that cursing He said who
is you Frank GD you & started to run
with the Iron Poker Frank told him
to get back or I will shoot you &
then Frank shot him & Jim ran
around the house & fell
