Guss Leak being sworn says
I was at Frank Miller house when Frank[?]
shot Jim Miller[crossed out] Wilson Jim was drunk
He & Frank Miller shot [?] at John H Nates[?]
house & Frank drew his pistol on Jim
Greer[?] at John Nates[?] house Jim followed
Frank to his house Frank went in the
house & Jim went in the door & Then
They both came back To John House
together After staying a short while
Frank Miller went back home again
Jim Wilson came into Franks yard
Cursing Frank said get out of the yard
while standing in the yard I heard the
pistol shot & went one found Jim
lying dead I saw one from [illegible] in Jim
hand all had been drinking It was
about an hour after Frank left John Nates[?]
house before Jim followed I heard
no threaths from either one

Bill Mates being sworn say
Jim Wilson Dach Pinson Frank Miller
was at my house I was in bed sick
I do not know what the trouble was
but Jim Wilson jumped up and grabed
the Iron Poker & I tried to take it away
from him & he went to Frank House
Frank had left before that about an
hour when I heard that Jim was shot
I went over to Franks house I saw The
Iron Poker lying near where Jim fell
The crowd was at my house most
of the day
