Jesse[?] Irby being sworn says
I live with Mr Will Bolt on Saturday
March 21st 1908 I was at Will Sextons
house I walked rond [around?] his house when
I got to the corner I heard some one
say dont shoot me I ran back to the
chimny [chimney] corner Saw Sam Clayton
he had hold of Charley Irby begging
Albert Boyd not to shoot him Albert
said get out of the chinly [?] if you
don't I will shoot you Charly said
I am not holding him About that
time Hosea Parks started up to
them Albert Pulled his gun on
him & told him to get back Albert
Boyd then ran up & shot Sam
Clayton in the breast & hit him
with the gun then Turned & walked
away I heard Albert Boyd Tell
Sam Claton that he had kicked
his brother & he was going to shoot
him This was about 12 oclock
21st March 1908
