of John P. Shockley, late of the

admonish all and singular, the kin-
dred and creditors of the said de-
ceased, to be and appear in the Court
of Probate for said county, to be
holden at Greenville Court House, on
the 22nd day of January, 1914, at 11
o'clock, a. m. to show cause if any
why Letters of Administration
should not be granted as prayed for.

WAGES TO BE REDUCED.

Philadelphia, Jan. 13—Wages of
more than 1,500 employees of the
Ajax Wood Iron and Steel company
and the sheet and plate mills of the
two companies, will be reduced 10
per cent January 26. Notices were
posted in the mills at Conshohocken
today. According to officers of the
two companies the reduction has
been made necessary "by the long
continued and severe liquidation in
the steel trade."
