I beg to refer you to my letter of the 25th ultimo asking you to forward two or three aboriginal names from which one could be chosen for the station at 2 miles 69 chains on the [Munbilla]-[Mount Edwards] line, and shall be glad to hear from you at an early date.

To Chief Protector of Aboriginals Brisbane
In reference to the request from the Railway Department for a suitable name for railway station at 2 miles 69 Chs on the Mt Edward Line
[?] of the following names may be suitable
Diferer row Bark Dunerer Forest. [?aunba] dialect.
[Berham JS ?Lipscombe?]
P.S. The dialect of the District is somewhat like [? ?] South Wales [BJSL?]

In reply to your letter of the 5th. inst. asking for names suitable for Railway Stations on the Blackall - Windorah Line, the Superintendent, Barambah Aboriginal settlement advises that the following may be suitable: -
Mekaree= Brigalow, Blackall, Jinburra = Boree, ".
