I'd go with the "is" you've entered. I'm afraid with double page ledgers like this one, scrolling and re-sizing is the only way. Thanks for your efforts


I believe it is actually "&c" (etc.), not "is", because he didn't take the time to write "and children". You can see it more clearly in the case of the first entry, 306. Also, the undeciphered word for Entry 320 is "whitlow" (misspelt as "witlow"), which is a type of abscess.
