'Reformatory for Boys'
[Lyttow?], 20th February, 1889 -
Recommends that C. Clarke be licensed out
to [MP?] farms Campbell
Sir,
I have the honor to recommend that
Charles Clarke, aged 12 years, be licensed out, under
the provisions of Section 15. of "The Industrial and"
"Reformatory Schools Act of 1866", to Mr James
Campbell, Lime merchant, Brisbane, for a period
of thirty months -
{Prepare
minute
25/2/89}
Clarke was sent here for seven years
for larceny, on the 29th February, 1888, by the
Brisbane Bench -
His conduct during the twelve months
he has been under my care, leads me to believe
he would do well in service if sent away from
his old associates in Brisbane, and Mr Campbell
is wanting him for his place at Mellum Creek -
I have the honor to be,
Sir,
Your most obedient Servant
[James W Warrell?]
Superintendent
{Supdt. Lyttow 89-770
