as they may think proper, and as security for money so
borrowed, or as security for any advances or liabilities
heretofore made, or incurred, or that may hereafter be
made or incurred, to hypothecate, mortagage, pledge
and give to the said Bank such stocks, bonds, debentures,
negotiable instrucments, choses in action, promise
to give security or other real or personal property of the
University as the Committees may deem proper, or as
may be required by, or on behalf of the Bank; and it is
expressly declared that any security given pursuant to
this By-Law may be in accordance with the Bank Act
and amending Acts in force from time to time, or in
such other forms as the Bank may required, or the Committee
may see fit; (b) To authorize from time to time, by
resolution or by By-Law, such trustee, officer, clerk,
cashier, or other employee of the University as the
Committee may appoint to transact the Banking business
of the University with said Bank, to make, draw, accept
and endorse bills of exchange, promissory notes,
and cheques, and to execute on behalf of the University
all such documents, agreements, securities and promises,
as aforesaid; and to delegate in or by the resolution or
By-law to such person, or persons, the powers hereby
conferred upon the Committee.
