It was found that the Governor General's
Prize had been gained by Roderick
McKay.

In accordance with the report of the
Committee appointed to examine the Prize
Prend it was decided to award the Prize
to F.G. Marques

In accordance with the reports of the
respective Committees the Senate sustained
the Theses of Messrs Cattanach and McCallum
[margin]Prize essays[/margin]
In accordance with the reports of the
respective Committees appointed to examine
the Prize Essays the Senate found
that the following Essays were entitled to
Prizes:
Lewis - Qui amat nil celat
Kasphorden - Lola nobilitas virtuo
Sherburn - How much solitude so much power
Mr Bean - "Le Diable"
Almonte - Nil desperandum

for Prize Essays to be ocmpeted for next
session:

2. Almonte - Best model of prayer for forenoon
service, $25
3. Carmichael - The Stationary steam engine
and Locomotive - $25
4. Maclennan - Recent English Psychology
