The Senatus met and was constituted.

Sederunt Principal Snodgrass, Professors
Williamson, Murray, Bell, and Mowat, and
Rev. H. McKerras, Interim Professor of Classics.

The minutes of last meeting were read and
approved.

[margin]William Caldwell[/margin]Mr. William Caldwell, who did not enter
the classes till the middle of October, having been
examined by the respective Professors whose classes
he had attended on the studies of last session, and
they having reported that he acquitted himself
creditably, it was agreed to hold him as having
passed the University examination as a student
of the second year.

After spending some time in ascertaining
and arranging the results of the Christmas
examinations, the Senatus resolved to resume
this work tomorrow.

Adjournment till tomorrow at one
o'clock.

Closed with prayer.
