The report of the sub-librarian was read and
sustained.

The Senate agreed that the Principal should
expend in the purchase of books for the
College-Library $160, and Professor Weir $50—
the Principal to purchase such books as
he considers important for his own and the
other Departments, - Professor Weir to purchase
for his own Department. It was agreed that
the Medical and Law-students should have
access to the benefits of the Library on one
dollar being paid for each student out of the
matriculation-Fees.

Professors Williamson, Mowat and Lawson
were appointed a Committee to watch over the
University-movement, and to take such steps
in regard to it as they may deem necessary

It was arranged that Mr. Andrew
Drummond Junior should act as Sub-
Librarian during the recess, and that the
key should be left with Professor Mowat
except when Mr. Drummond requires it—Library
to be open from 9 to 10 A.M. every Saturday
