The object of the meeting was to copnsider the application
of Mr. Peter McLaren, Teacher of the
Grammar School, Carleton Place, to receive
from the Senatus the Degree of Bachelor
of Arts. The Senatus being satisfied from
the Testemonials submitted to them that
Mr. McLaren had attended a full course
of Academical Study at the Universities
of St Andrews and Glasgow, Scotland,
agreed to receive Mr. McLaren to Examination
for the above Degree on the Subjects prescribed
thereto, and appointed to-morrow the 31st inst.
