The Senatus met on the Call of the Principal and
was constituted with Prayer. Present Revd. Principal
Machar, and Revd. Professors Williamson & Smith.

The names of the Students admitted to matriculate
were appointed to be intimated by the Principal
at the public opening to take place on Thursday
9th inst.

An application to the Principal on the part of
Mr. Macdonald Bridges, Toronto, was read, in which
Mr. Bridges requested information as to the course
necessary for him to adopt in order to receive the
Degree of Bachelor of Arts from this University. Both
