as some extenuating circumstances applied
in the case of one of them, it was
resolved not to insert their names in
the record.

In regard to Mr F. P. Syme, it was
resolved that in the opinion of the Senatus,
he may be admitted to study divinity
next Session; provided that for the two
first Sessions of his theological course, he
attend also one or more of the Classes of
the Faculty of Arts.
