The Senatus took up the subject of Degrees.
The names of the following individuals were
laid before the Senatus, as entitled to receive
the Degree of Master of Arts: viz. The Rev.
William Bain, of Perth; Mr John Bower
Mowat, and Mr John Bonner, all Students
of this College in former Sessions.

The names of the following individuals, also
Students of this College in former Sessions, were
laid before the Senatus, as being entitled to
the Degree of Bachelor of Arts; viz. Rev.
George Bell, of Cumberland, and Rev. Alexander
Wallace of Huntington, C.E.

It was also intimated by the Secretary,
that the following individuals, being Students
of this College during the Session now closed, were
desirous of being examined with a view to
obtain the Degree of Bachelor of Arts.
viz: Mr William Arid Ross; Mr John McIntyre,
Mr John Campbell and Mr William
Doryal Mattier.

Whereupon the Senatus resolved that the
consideration of the claims of the Students of
former Sessions be deferred till next meeting;
that the application of the Students to be
examined with a view to obtain the Degree of
