The minutes of the last meeting held
April 1st were read and approved.

The Theses for M.A. were apportioned
among the Professors for examination as
follows: Mr. Gray's - the Principal and Professor
Mowat: Mr. Lang's - Professors Williamson
and Dupuis : Mr. Burgess' - Professors
Mackerras and Ferguson.

The Senate revised a part of the
Calendar.

Prizes from Messrs.
Macpherson & Maclennan

The Principal informed the Senate
that the Hon. D.L. Macpherson had authorized
the offer of $25 for a Prize Essay,
and that D.B. Maclennan Esq. had sent a
cheque for $50 for a Prize essay and class
prizes.

scholarships from D.S. Dow
[/margin]

The Principal reported that David
Strathern Dow Esq. of Toronto had given
$1500 for the foundation of a scholarship
in Theology. It was agreed that the
scholarship be offered for competition to
matriculants in Theology.
