I went to the office & posted your letter. Then I went to 11 Downing St. to a Palestine committee. I fear we are going to have a lot of trouble over this. Mrs Snowden is very distressed about your not coming on Thursday, but quite understands. I have

to sit next to the Princess, which won't be much fun! I have just had long talks with Bertie Horne & Oliver Stanley. Our beloved leader really must pull up his socks & give us something ripe! I am just off to Blanchie & expect a quiet evening.
