The Royal Scots Fusiliers Association.

ANNUAL REPORT,

For the Year ended 31st December, 1915.

Another year has elapsed since the last Annual Report was published, and the great War still continues, and as far as can be seen, the end in not yet in sight.

There are now nine Battalions of our Regiment, and one and all have nobly sustaine the great tradition of The Royal Scots Fusiliers.

The accounts for the year ended 31st December, 1915, closed with a credit balance of £107 19s. 3d. on income account, as against a credit balance of £184 3s. 9d. at the close of the year 1914.

The Subscriptions and Donations have again fallen considerably, amounting only to £139 19s. 1d. as against £206 13s. 9d., but this is accounted for by there having no Donations during the year from any of the Presidents of the Regimental Institutes. In 1914 these Donations amounted to £94 10s. 0d.

Our invested Funds have been increased by two purchases of £100 of War Stock, bringing up the nominal value of our investments to the total of £3173 17s. 8d. The total amount of money collected during the year and received from dividends on Invested Fund amounted to £234 3s. 2d., as against £303 1s. 11d. for the year ending 31st December, 1915.

On the other hand the number of cases dealt with during the year has greatly diminished, being only 23 as against 72 during 1915, the amount disbursed being only £86 3s. 6d. as against £144 0s. 1d., of which £10 was paid to one man (see case No. 9) and £32 was paid in case No. 14. The smallness in the number of cases dealt with is due
