My brain was in such a whirl from the emotions & excitements last night that I dont feel I thanked you adequately for all you were good enough to say about me. It was a wonderful gathering & I am sure Mintos spirit was amongst us. You have made his influence live, & on all sides

I hear such wonderful tributes. Your wife must feel satisfied & proud of the appreciation of your labours. Higher praise cd. not be given than that such a book shd. be circulated to every school in the United Kingdom, & that is what several people have said to me. This line requires no answer I have just tossed the contents of the inkstand over the page, please forgive I have no time to rewrite. This is an inadequate line, but I am still suffering from last night's emotions. They tell me I shd. send the book to the Maharaja of Mysore, so may I have one more copy, then I will wait before ordering the next consignment
