word painter as you - I shall ever feel most grateful to you, for having given to the world such a vivid picture of one who was in many ways, a unique figure & character. I am waiting to write more fully tomorrow, and to send back the Memoir, as Johnnie comes tonight from Oxford, & I want him to read it, & see what he says -
