The meeting adjourned for want of a quorum

A meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the
City of Kingston was held this day. Present

Aldermen
Allen, Anglin, Dupuis, Fee, Gaskin,
JP Gildersleeve, Harty, Irving, Law, McCammon,
McGuire, McIntyre, McMahon, McRossie, Pense,
Snook

The Clerk read the minutes of the three last meetings.

A communication from the City Engineer was read
In Re expenditure in certain wards of the City for 1879.
There was no action taken thereon

A communication from Francis Ellington, County Clerk
was read respecting Committee of County Council appointed
in December last - no action

A communication from F Oliver Manager of the Kingston
Street Railway Company in reply to letter of February 10 was
read relative to accident to Mr William Burrows at Barrie
street crossing Park Avenue

On motion of Ald McCammon seconded by Ald McMahon
Ordered, That the communication of Mr Oliver
be referred to the Committee on Streets to report.

A communication from John Treddick was read
with reference to the line of Queen street and praying to be
allowed to proceed with building as commenced

On motion of Ald Gaskin seconded by Ald Anglin
Ordered, That the communication of Mr Treddick
be referred to the Committee on Streets

A communication from AJ Johnson was read
respecting Nuisance ground - Referred to the Mayor
