A communication from M Lavell MD was read asking for the
use of OPntario Hall for the annual professional examinations of the
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario on the 13th instant

On motion of Ald Dupuis seconded by Ald Allen
Ordered, That Ontario Hall be granted for the
use of the Examiners of College of Physicians and Surgeons
of Ontario for the spring of 1880

Ald Dupuis brought up the petition of Andrew Dunlop
and two others praying for a drain on Rideau street

On motion of Ald Dupuis seconded by Ald Allen
Ordered, That the petition of Andrew Dunlop and others
be referred to the Committtee on Streets and Improvements to report

Ald McIntyre brought up the petition of Francis Munro
offering a part of his lot to straighten a street on certain
conditions

On motion of Ald McIntyre seconded by Ald Law
Ordered, That the petition of Francis Munro be referred
to the Committee on Streets to report

Ald Irving brought up the petition of D O'Sullivan and
7 others praying for a drain on William street between
Wellington and Bagot streets

On motion of Ald Irving seconded by Ald Wilson
Ordered, that the petition of D O'Sullivan and others be
referred to the Committee on Streets to report

Ald McRossie brought up the petition of John McIntyre
requesting the attention of the Council to the defect
that there is no drain on Sydenham street &c

On motion of Ald McRossie seconded by Ald Pense
Ordered, That the petition of John McIntyre
be referred to the Committee on Streets to report

Ald McGuire brought up the petition of Joseph Tait
praying payment for stone crossing along line of
Montreal street over Princess street

On motion of Ald McGuire seconded by Ald Snook
Ordered, That the petition of Joseph Tate for payment
of account for building crossing on Princess street be
referred to the Committee on Streets to report

Ald McGuire brought up the petition of Joseph Tate
respecing back taxes

On motion of Ald McGuire seconded by Ald Snook
Ordered, That the petition of Joseph Tate as to back
taxes be referred to the Committee on back taxes to report

Ald McIntyre from the Commitee on Finance and
Accounts brought up Reports (Numbers 767 & 768 Book D No 2)
which were read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on City Property
brought up a Report (Number 769 Book D No 2) which
was read and adopted

On motion of Ald McGuire seconded by Ald Dupuis
