On motion of Ald Pense seconded by Ald McCammon
Ordered, That the petition of John O'Brien
and others be referred to the Committee on Fire, Water
and Gas to report

Ald McGuire brought up the petition of A Brunet and
60 others ratepayers recommending Thomas Boyle as a fit
person to receive relief from the Council

On motion of Ald McGuire seconded by Ald Allen
Ordered, That the petition of A Brunet and 60 others
be referred to the Finance Committee to report

Ald Pense brought up the petition of James Nesbitt on
the subject of Market Tolls &c

On motion of Ald Pense seconded by Ald Harty
Ordered That the petition of Mr James Nesbitt be
referred to the Market Committee to report

Ald Pense brought up the petition of Patrick Power
praying for a remission a portion of the sum paid by him
for frontage last year

On motion of Ald Pense seconded by Ald McGuire
Ordered, That the petition of Patrick Power be referred
to the Committee on Streets to report

Ald Harty from the Committee on Finance and Accounts
brought up two reports (Numbers 762 & 763 Book D No 2)
which were read and adopted

On motion of Ald McGuire seconded by Ald Gaskin
Ordered, That the prayer of the petition of Peter Clark
be granted

The Chairman from the Committee on the Market
brought up a Report which was read

Ald Fee moves seconded by Ald Gaskin
That the report of the Committee on the Market be
received and adopted which being put was lost
