On motion of Ald Ryan Seconded by Ald Wright
Ordered that the prayer of the petition of the Poor Relief associations be granted
and that the Finance Committe be instructed to provide funds for same.

From Thomas Mills by Ald Richardson asking that the Court of Revision
give him a hearing re taxes on St. Georges Church property Referred to the Court of Revision.

Ald McKelvey from the Committee on Finance and accounts brought
up Reports (number 127 128 Book H.) which were read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Board of Works brought up Report (number
129 Book H.) which was read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Parks brought up Report
(number 131 Book H.) which was read and adopted.

The Chairman from Committee on Fire Water and Light brought up
Report (number 132 Book H.) which was read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Printing brought up Report (number
133 Book H.) which was read and adopted.

Ald Allen moves Seconded by Ald Richardson
That this Council petition the Legislature not to grant the Legislation now
being asked for by Bell Telephone Co. to enable them to increase their rates, The said,
petition be prepared and forwarded at once.

On motion of Ald Elliott Seconded by Ald Ryan
Ordered that this Council desires to extend to E. J.B.Pense our sincere
Sympathy in his sad affliction by the loss of his estimable wife and that the
mayor forward copy of resolution.

On motion of Ald Ryan Seconded by Ald McKelvey
Ordered that the Sympathy of this Council be extended to the family
of ex Alderman Wilson who for eighteen years occupied a seat at this Council
Board.

On motion the Council adjourned.
