An account of a bill of Fare of the Steam Ship Britannia
on her voyage from Liverpool to Boston 4th February 1841.

Breakfast. Beef Steaks, Mutton chops
Pork Chops, Veal cutlets, smoked salmon, broiled chicken
fried ham, cold meats, stews, eggs; in omelettes, eggs boil'd
hominy, mash, jelly, jams.

Dinner. Soups, bouillie and vermicelli &
3 dishes of fish, Turbot and lobster sauce, Beef 2 dishes
roast, 2 boiled, mutton 2 roast, 2 boiled, Lamb 2
roast, 4 veal pies, roast pork and apple sauce, Beef
olives, 3 dishes, fowls 6 roast, 6 boiled, currie, maccaroni
4 dishes; 4 made dishes; 2 hams; 2 tongues,
10 dishes potatoes baked boiled and mashed, 10 dishes
assorted vegetables, Turkeys 2 roast, 2 boiled, 2 roast
geese and apple sauce - 4 roast ducks, dish of twice
laid fish.

Pastry. 6 Apple dumplings, 6 Cranberry
tarts, 4 Rolled puddings, 4 Bread puddings &
2 Plum puddings, 6 rhubarb tarts, 6 gooseberry tarts
10 dishes of pancakes.

Here followeth an abstract of the Log of the Steam
Ship Britannia from Liverpool toward Halifax
and Boston on the voyage in February 1841.
