A party of mainland natives brought in a lugger this morning belonging to Charles Bruce—they found her in the skardon river 80 miles South abandoned by those who brought her there they followed the tracks of five natives from the lugger in the direction of Bertiehaugh Ducie River, Bruce has not yet been heard of enquiries will be made Bruce may have been killed he had with him a white man Samuel Rowe and eight natives from Bertiehaugh
