promotion to The Rank of Sub-
Inspector in the Native Mounted Police
via Edward Wheeler, dismissed.

Mr Thompson has served in
The Native Police since the 1st July 1866
and has proved himself to be a
thoroughly efficient officer and

him for his well earned promotion.
