Herewith two applications for Permits for trackers Charlie
and Deighton. Charlie was lately in employ of J McLean
of Bellevue Sth & was a witness in late case L Kene v
(Bellevue) McLean. Charlie wishes brecruit. He is an active
boy & good rider & could make a good tracker. Deighton
also wishes recruit & is a suitable boy. He has a [?9 in] with him.
I have put both these boys on my Form F for January but
have not returned these for January pay. I would suggest
that Charlie be sent to Cvew & Tsvill retain (with your approval)
Deighton here to make up Laura detachment to allowed
strength [?viz] fine.
