A curiosity of rather a remarkable nature is being forwarded to Melbourne. It consists of the body of a blackfellow dried in the sun. It appears that some year or two ago this blackfellow was either speared or shot when up in a tree. He fell doubled up across a bough, and there hung until he became thoroughly sun-dried. A short time ago a passer by saw this mummy, or whatever it may be called, and took it down and put it into a glass case. It is to be forwarded by the Saxonia. It comes from the Upper Burdekin.
