The blacks are getting troublesome on the Belyando, and have been making sad havoc at Beaufort, the Hon. A. H. Palmer's station. Report says that one shepherd, a Chinaman, has been killed, and that other shepherds are missing. Should the drought continue we may expect to hear of further casualties, for the blacks are driven away from their usual haunts by want of water, and have no other resource than the sheep pools.
