My dear Mother
My direction at Cambridge will be No. 55 Matthews Hall but it may not be worth while to write and I do not expect to again. We go down this afternoon and on Saturday I hope to catch the 3 P.M. for Newport. Hope I can get in without a condition and ought to be able to. Still fairly warm. There will be in all eight of us from Andover. I feel very well.

My dear Mother
Yesterday morning I attended the commencement at the Fem Sem and although I understood very little of either the French, German or Latin oration it was on the whole entertaining. In the afternoon I came to Cambridge where I received thy letter. The P.O. orders came in good season. Anna's letter came this morning. I saw Malcolm for a few minutes but he had not much to say. I been to two ex. but do not know the result. Feel Well.
