June, 10th 1881.

My dear mother
We had the sixth and last examin-
ation in Homer this morning and I think it will
be the last on in Greek also. Tever's prophecy
of a rainy June is coming true with a vengance.
We seem to have a N. Easter of from 3 to 6 days once
a week and in between whiles thunder stormy
etc. At present is a hard N. Easter, blowing
like everything. We have ice cream once a
week and yesterday it was actually very fair.
I am afraid that Trowbridge is quite sick from a
letter of his that I saw to one of the boy. Are you
coming on via Fall River? I feel well W.W.S.
