My dear mother
Although the wind is north
east and it is drizzling a little we are going up to
Exeter at 1.16 to see the base ball game. It will
be a good chance to see the room and school if
it does not actually rain. I hope that we can
play out the game without having a row as
we did last year. A letter came from Trowbridge
yesterday telling of his safe arrival at home.
His return was hastened several days by some
trouble with his liver. Just think of it in a
week from the time this reaches you you will
be safely in Newport! I feel very well W.W.S.
