May dear Mother Please send me a tooth brush and a spool of solk
Besides your nice letters from home I
received one from Trowbridge yesterday. He had nothing
particular to say but his letter was pleasant. He has
a short verse in the March Scribner which you may
have noticed. I do not think that it is at all remarkable.
The photographs are excellent besides being very nice
lookinig pictures in themselves. We are havingi the
third day of a rain, snow and sleet storm. It is not
cole but very raw and unpleasant outside. School
closes three weeks from next Friday on the 25 of this
month. It is almost time to sne for a state room.
I went to school again today and feel very well
again. If thee will now come to pay a visit I will be delighted
