My dear Mother
As the time for Barclay's wedding
drew near the prospect of seeing the marriage,
Providence and a day off seemed so pleasant that
I concluded to ask Banty if I could go andas he
did not object at all. I am at present waiting
in Boston for the train to start in Providence.
I can get there in plenty of time and it will
be very little bother to make up my lessons.
Anna's letter at length came yesterday
and I am much obliged for it. She did not
mention what valentines they received. The
thermometer was down to about 0 this morning
I hope you are well. I feel so W.W.S.
