My dear Mother
Yesterday I went to Boston and as I expected
to do and had a very nice time. In the morning I had
my hair cut, saw Brown, who wish to be remembered to
thee Anna and Het, called a Mrs. Kodman's andMr Ritch's.
At the latter they were out but at the former I saw Mr
Rodman and Miss Snelling. They were both pleasant
and Miss Snelling looked very pretty. Their house for next
summer at Newport is the same one that they had
last year. Please send me an india rubber comb for
I have broken a good many of the teeth of the one that I
have. Mary Anderson was very pretty but I did not like
the play she was in very much. I feel very well. W.W.S
