My dear mother
Last night there was another lecture
at the Fem Sem which was quite nice. To
day it is raining and rather dismal but the
term is nearly done. The Phillipian is pretty
good but I have nothing in it this time. This
just read to be mailed which is quite a relief. Brown
who broke his leg is eighteen today. He is about my
age as is Thompson the new boy in our house.
Hope to get a letter this afternoon but may not as
one came yesterday. The Newport Journal comes
to day. I feel very well. W.W.S.
