My dear mother
Yesterday the three of us ran five miles
without stopping in the gymnasium. We did not go
fast but it was quite a long run. It is now snowing
but as the ground is wet it does not stay long on the
roads which makes very disagreeeable walking. Christmas
comes five weeks from to day and Thanksgiving only one.
The rink had a thin layer of ice over yesterday but I am
afraid skating will not come for some time yet.
I hope this day week will be pleasanter than
today is. Does thee know whether or not Mrs. Rotch is going to be in
New Bedford on Thanksgiving. I feel well W.W.S.
