My dear Mother
A nice letter from thee came this
morning. It has been raining and snowing all
day and there is now no prospect of its clearing
soon. This day week I hope to go to Newport and
expect to stay there until Thursday morning and
then go to West Medford. Only five weeks more
this term! and they will soon go. Our foot ball
eleven beat the Newtons quite badly on Saturday
last for the first time game won this year.
I feel well. Cold doing nicely - W.W.S.
