My dear mother

Tonight the Draper prize speaking
is to come off and I expect to have a very pleasant
time. Instead of a fish and delightful walk in the
country to day as I had hoped for we have these reci-
tations a good deal of the time in between I have
to study. After dinner as it is very warm I
expect to take a swim which will be very
pleasant I expect if the water is not very cold.
I feel well and hope you are. Much obliged for the engine
