as I said before is upon the Colonization Society question. I have got some Colonization papers and Mr Humphry is going to draw me some book from the T Seminary library upon the subject.

I went to Lowell last Saturday with the boys that board here. We had a fine time and as it was the first ride I have had in a sleigh enjoyed myself much. We were only gone from here but five hours. We stayed there about an hour seeing every thing there is to be seen except the mills which we could not get an entrance to.

Sleighing is very fine at present and the hill upon which the Seminary and Academy stands is covered with boys every evening "sliding down hill". I went out last night and had ten or a dozen glorious slides. Does Charley slide upon the blue sled as much as usual. Tell him he must name it the "Mad Turtle".
