door happened to be locked, just take the key hanging up
on the left hand side of the casing and unlock it.
You may wonder that I put in so many conditions.
I will explain. As I said we are to trim the hall
and we cannot begin to put any thing up until
Monday morning. It is an awful job, and will require
much labor. It may be something will be wanting as to the
trimming and then the committee would be obliged to
supply the want. Then the flowers we shall not put up
until about noon. Should nothing of the kind happen
I shall be at my room, when you arrive. The whole school
have to attend the Seniors Examination in the morning
but your coming will be an excuse for me. But the
next question is how are you to be fed while here, and
how will you get home. About the first you must decide,
all I can say is it will not be possible for me to take
dinner with you at any public house for as soon as
examination is over I shall be busy for a while + shall
let Chum have your company. My advice to you would be
if you had just-as leaves do it, to bring your own lunch with you.
The sight of so many boys will take away your appetite, so
that you will not be very hungry. However do just as you like.
As to the return home, you cannot get to B. soon enough for
the last train without leaving before the exercises are half through
therefore can't you make a plan how you can get home
