My Dear Mother

Your "baby note" reached
me safely last Monday AM and was rec'd with that
feeling of pleasure that perhaps you too have
experienced on receiving a long wished for letter from the
dear ones at home. I intended to have answered it
yesterday at the same time with Louise's but unforseen
circumstances prevented. I occupied all my spare time
yesterday AM writing to Louise. For I considered such an
unwanted pleasure as a letter from her must be promp
tly attended to. yesterday. PM I had my Euclid to
get and got it; besides reciting and prayers before supper.
Immediately after supper I moved a stove I had
bought to my room. Which, it being some distance from
House 5 Room 6 Eng Com where the stove was, to House 2 Room 6
Lat Com, my room, occupied my time together with the
necessary removal of another stove, my chum's, from my
room till about 7P.M. Then I went into Rich's room,
the one opposite, to return some articles I had borrowed,
and throwing myself on the lounge feel asleep while
engaged in conversation with him and slept till 10P.M.
