Friday Feb. 27, 1874
Yesterday Tilly Lizzie and I
went to the village together,
and had a jolly time, as
you may imagine when three
of us are together. Lizzie and
Tilly prepared
to jump
from the
path into
the smooth
snow, and
Tilly jumped
with a will
while Lizzie stood almost dead
with laughter on the walk.
They had teachers' meeting twice
yesterday, to make out our
reports, and Miss Palmer said
she was asked particularly
about several of her girls here
It is not hard to guess what
the questions were about, I think.
I have been keeping study hours
with Lizzie this afternoon, to go
out this evening, and while
we were lying on the No. 3 bed,
Kate [Killam?] came to the
closet and out again without
